This sweet hat was designed for my little Vera when she was just 2 years old (2015). 💕 When each of my three children were toddlers, they LOVED getting on top of the red concrete ball, at Target, and sliding down it. They lived for it and it was one of their favorite little things. It’s the llittle things, right? 💕 Here she is sitting on said concrete ball at the Gig Harbor, Washington Target store. 💝 Where on earth does the time go?! VVSS is knitted in the round, has a turned brim, eyelets for the ribbon, and spirals for pretty, added texture. You will need one skein of Yarnitoli DK (approx. 175 yds/75g), size US5 & size US6 16-inch circular needles, size US6 DPN’s, a darning needle, removable flower, and some ribbon. I have combined the ribbon with the flower. I use hair clip flowers, for easy removal for washing.
You will need:
● One skein of Yarnitoli DK (231 yards).
● Size US5 16-inch needles
● Size US6 16-inch needles (for slouchy)
● Size US6 DPN’s
● Stitch marker
● Darning needle
Flower and ribbon are, of course, optional.
