This handsome and rugged beanie was designed for my son, Bailey Weston, as he began his hunting years. She loves a good, old-fashioned fold it up brim. Double the warmth for the ears and I was sold! It is knitted, in the round, on size US5 16-inch circular needles. It features a ribbed, folded brim and a fabulous moss stitch basketweave pattern. The pattern features the folded brim, a standard brim, fitted instructions, and slouchy instructions. There are 5 sizes offered in the pattern: toddler, child, teen/adult small, adult, and adult large. The gauge for this beanie is 6 stitches per inch.
You will need:
- one skein of the fabulous Yarnitoli DK (231 yds)
- size US5 16-inch circular needles
- size US5 DPN's (double-pointed needles), and a darning needle.
