This handsome, timeless & classic cable knit beanie is the perfect staple hat accessory for the whole family’s wardrobe. With its seed stitch, ribbing, and cable texture it lends itself to a timeless and classic look that works in every color. Bello is knitted in the round, first on size US5’s, and then on US6’s. You can easily add the bling factor with size 6 glass beads (108) on the cables. The gauge is 5.5 stitches per inch.
Materials Needed:
• One skein of Yarnitoli DK yarn (231 yards. You will use approximately 175-200 yards)
• Size 5 16-inch circular needles
• Size 6 16-inch circular needles
• Size 6 DPN’s for bind off (magic loop is also fine)
• Cable needle
• Darning needle
• Up to 108 size 6 glass beads
(optional for a bling version)
