This wonderfully timeless and textured beanie was inspired by the monkey fist knot. The texture lends itself, to tonals, so fabulously. The hat is worked in the round on, first size US5 needles, and then, on US6’s. While the pattern is written for one size there are instructions on how to go up or down sizes. The gauge is 6 stitches per inch.
You will need:
● One skein of Yarnitoli DK (231 yards).
● Size US5 16-inch needles
● Size US6 16-inch needles (for slouchy)
● Size US6 DPN’s
● Stitch marker
● Darning needle
