Fierce. Every part of it for my Auntie Patty Garbrick. She had a fierce love for big cats. Especially tigers and cheetahs. She thought they were the most beautiful animals on earth. She lost her battle to breast cancer January 10, 2022. And I was right there with her until the end. And then a little more. I hope she is surrounded by nothing but big cats, my grandparents, bodies of water for her to fish in, and has an endless supply of her favorite vodka.
She was my idol as far back as I can remember, as a child. We never lived close by so I never really got to know her until I was an adult. She was the strongest, most courageous, bravest, most heroic, fierce, confident, passionate, caring, compassionate, loving, funny, beautiful person I’ve ever known. She fought so hard, and with such amazing grace, perseverance, strength, positivity, and dignity.
A symbol of her courage and strength in her heroic battle against breast cancer, Fierce will be a lasting tribute to her memory. This colorway is dedicated to this coutrageous amazing woman, her passion for big cats &, and her fierce love for her family. She was my biggest fan!
