This heartfelt breast cancer awareness kit was created in honor of my auntie Patty Garbrick, who we lost to breast cancer, January 10th, 2022. Breast cancer runs rampant in my family and I had a scare of my own one year ago. I found a lump in my breast September 20th, 2022. I will never be out of the woods, or in the clear, with a health history like mine. This also means my little girl, Vera Lynn, will also have to live under the infamous family pink cloud, for her entire life, as well. Please join me in supporting breast cancer awareness month, in honor of my favorite auntie, Patty Garbrick. 10% of all sales will go to the Carol Milgard breast cancer center. It more than hits close to home for me: I played basketball with Carol Milgard’s granddaughter, I, myself, had to be seen there, and the Milgard family is from my hometown, Gig Harbor, Washington.
