Warrior Cables was the other part of my original 5th published design and was designed and knitted for my mama, Cheryl Cain. I couldn’t be any more thrilled to be bringing it back! Published January 4, 2017, sizes have been added, as well as an additional yarn weight! Warrior Cables soon became much more when my Mama beat stage 4 bone cancer just 15 months later. And, then, when my dear friend DeeDee Emmett made this special hat for her sweet baby sister, Marjorie DeShaw, for all her hike WHILE putting up the fight of her life against cancer. Factor in my favorite Auntie, who lost her courageous fight against breast cancer, January 10, 2021 & the featured charcoal grey cashmere hat was made and given to my birth father just two days prior, for his 75th birthday & I lost him just 2 months after my Auntie: this hat is jampacked full of love, bravery, strength, honor, and dignity.
